ABOUT THE FILM
The war between good and evil has been continuing since ages.As it is well familiar that the human body created by the almighty is made up of innumerous cells .
Besides the good cells in this well organised human body, develop few harmful cells .
As soon as the active good cells sense the development of harmful cells ,
they get alert and fight back to eradicate them from the body.
Whenever these active good cells fail to fight back the harmful cells, the number of harmful cells proliferate. As a result of which, the situation goes out of control and our existence stands at risk. This leads to the rise of a deadly disease called CANCER .
The society we belong to is also based on a similar concept , the never ending struggle between good and evil . We should be well aware of the fact that, the day the percentage of evilness in the society will surpass the goodness, the question of our survival will arise.
"TAR GOLPO" does not just focus on the aspects of this fatal disease named CANCER,
but also throws light on the societal issues and develops a sense of awakening among us. Many little but crucial incidents of our society which go unnoticed today can result in a huge matter of concern in the coming future.
"TAR GOLPO" : A love story about the relationship of a husband and wife .

SYNOPSIS :
This film was born due to death. With his film just about done, director Shantanu Roy faces a turbulent time, leaving him to fight two battles. One of cancer and another, his film’s censor. In a democracy like India, his film gets censored for a bizarre reason. Dejected, Shantanu is confused on what to do in the short span of time that he has left. Whom will he save? His own creation or the person he has spent most of his life with? As we follow Shantanu’s war for life, we realize that cancer is not just a disease of the living, it is present in our thoughts, our actions, our society. It is capable of single-handedly destroying the democratic rights of human beings; capable of silencing a work of art. Based on a true story of recent times, this is a film of love, passion and war.
